The training will be held in conjunction with the Kentucky Association of School Psychologists at the Airport Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, KY. On March 10-11, 2016, a Courage to Care Leadership Institute will be held at the Discover Portsmouth Center in downtown Portsmouth, NH, the most beautiful city in New England! This two day intensive training will improve your ability to reduce incivility, aggression and bullying in your program by enabling to use an evidence-based method of teaching empathy, caring and kindness. The two day training includes instruction from Dr. Malcolm Smith, one of the nation’s leading experts on reducing bullying, as well as a national staff of trainers. Participants will receive a 300 page training manual, DVD, CD, and student Courage Books, as well as licensing to teach the program. Intensive studies with 6,7,&8th Graders has show that the Courage to Care will make a significant change in your students’ social and emotional learning and change your school or program’s culture and climate.
